Workshop: Cyber Liability and Schools

Learn How to Prevent and Respond to Data Breach

public-school-2.jpg

Virtually all school districts have data on students, employees and others which can be stolen, electronically “hacked” or lost through accidental or inadvertent release. In fact, schools must be able to notify those individuals affected by a breach. In addition, the district may wish to provide credit monitoring and identity restoration case management to those affected by the breach in order to reduce the impact to their reputation.

This workshop is designed to help schools understand the risk, prevent and respond to the financial burden and service obligations of a data breach.

•    Want to know what a data breach is and how to prevent it?
•    Want to learn who should be notified if a data breach occurs and what public relations measures to take?
•    Want to hear some real life data breach examples schools have faced?

This event is brought to you by NAS | North American Solutions and co-sponsored by HSB | Hartford Steam Boiler. NAS is an official TASBO sponsor and provider of continuing education credits. The course is part of a risk management curriculum designed specifically for school business and operations professionals - Giving school administrators, teachers and students peace of mind that their personal information is in safe hands.
